Excuse the mess in the before pictures. I cleaned everything out from underneath the bed, then realized I hadn't photo'd the before yet. You will have to pardon my rambling, but I'm gonna explain as we go along. So here we go...a tour of my guest bedroom/stampin' space.
Uugh - the before :(
This pic taken standing at the bedroom door...
Also standing at the bedroom door facing the closet door seen at the right in the pic...
Standing at the dresser in the opposite corner of the bedroom door...
And finally, the computer armoire being used for candle storage (I know what you are thinking, but remember I used to sell candles)...
Aahh - the after :)
Standing at the bedroom door...
Standing at the closet door...
Fabric purchased to coordinate with the existing bedding...
The new shelf installed in the corner by the closet door...
Slow progression to completely filled - the top is all my stamps (3 containers - yikes) and ink pads; the second shelf is photo storage boxes that I use for completed projects and supplies like post it clip boards, post it binders, cuttlebug dies and accessories; third shelf is 12x12 organizers - the two stacked on each other have SU! dspapers and Holiday paper packs all sorted by the holiday and the other 12x12 organizer has 2 drawers of punches and 1 drawer with B.I.A. supplies; the bottom shelf is all paper - the left container all SU! color family paper and the container on the right is 12x12 cardstock and designer papers from HL and Michaels.
The armoire - my new stampin' space...
An up close look - top left shelf is my large tools (sticker maker, bind it all, crop o dile, cuttlebug); top right shelf is the forget me not keeper from Jennifer's 2 part class; middle right shelf is glue dots, stampin' scrub and simply scrappin' card kit; bottom right area is a small drawer organizer complete with labels (this is where my obsessive compulsive from my photo survey post factors in) which is storage for adhesives, dimensionals, hardware, sanding blocks, and other quick access items; of course you can also see all of my cutting tools on the right; the center section has a holder for scissors, pliers, random markers and glitter pens and my magnet board covered with fabric to match the bedding.
The bottom half of the armoire - the trash can fits perfectly where the cpu should go, the printer area stores my sharpie markers, brads & eyelets, my slice and its accessories and my travel scrappin' bag.
I attached cork board squares to the doors and covered them with coordinating fabric.
The file drawer stores my project supplies like card envelopes, coasters and notepads.
